Her pov:
the next morning when the sun hits my smooth skin i started waking up into the new surroundings which belongs to me now , my lehnga was scattered on the nearby sofa , my bangles on the dressing table, his kurta too . And i realised wait there supposed to be a man beside me so i looked at my left and he was not there, i looked at the table clock it was just 9:30 WHATTTTT!!? 9:30?? I'm dead bro i don't care anymore where he is but only about how am i going to handle today's day as the bahu of bedi family who just woke up late 😭.
I hurried myself to the bathroom and took shower , dry my hairs , wored my red saree , thanks to khushi she taught me wearing it since i was in 10th . Wored matching bangles and anklets too . And made my way downstairs where everyone must be angry or will be judging me for bring late on the first day. My heart was pounding when i heard people talking ..i slowed my steps and then my mother in law noticed me .
Aree Diya kitni pyari lg rahi ho ..ayo ayoo ( she beamed with happiness when she saw me in my red saree , i was still nervous yet quite shocked too )
..um good morning aunty. ( I smiled nervously)
Very good morning bachha .. aur aunty nahi maa kaho..ayo khana khane beth jao ( she pulled a chair for me )
( I hesitated because my step mom has told me to wake early and to prepare breakfast for my in laws and i successfully failed)

Preshan ho ki uthne mein der hogyi? Aur pehli rasoi bhi reh gyi? ( She asked me while smiling)
Jii.. vo ac- ( i tried to explain but she cut me off)
Hota hai, mai samjhti hu koi btt nahi kal krlenge ajj aram kro aur bhla phele din hee thode tumhe kitchen mein bhej denge. Ab vo zmana gya . ( She assured me)
( I looked around there was just me and his mom )
Sb kam pe gye hai. ( She stated while serving me food )
Oh..( i wondered Even Anirudh? It's the first day after marriage and he just gone to work like that? )
( My mother in law chukkled) Relax.. Anirudh jaldi ajayega uski ek bht important meeting thi isliye jaldi chla gya . Chlo ab khao .
I felt warmth and embarrassement at the same time* how she knows everything and the way she cares huh.😌*
( I started eating and suddenly said) Apne..kha liya? ..
Han maine subhe inke sath hee kha lia tha tum khao. ( She replied)
Sorry aunty..uh mera matlab hai m..maa..( i hesitatetly completed the sentence) ajj late uthi toh ..agee se thyan rakhungi pka promise.
( She smiled) Thik hai thik hai maine kuch kaha? Nahi na toh?
( I smiled too ) Jii.
Time passed, she told me about Anirudh's likes and dislikes, his childhood, his behaviour and lot's of things of her family too and in almost afternoon we both went to our room to rest *
I was setting my clothes in wardrobe when i heard the room door open and close*

He cleared his throat*
Bp re khadus agya . ( I murmered and went out )
I saw him in his black suit , looking perfectly a ceo , tall , broad , handsome 😗 no I'm just stating facts I'm not checking him out at all*

Huh? Uh..han nahi mai..vo ( i composed myself realized i was staring at him directly which was so obvious)
Achi lg rahi hai yeh saree ( he said and suddenly my cheeks felt warm , turning pink )

Hmm.. fresh hoke ata hu .
( He looked tired)
( I made my way downstairs in kitchen and saw a maid ) ..hyy
Ji didi ?
Vo Anirudh k liye khana chahiye tha..
Ji abhi lgati hu .
Thnku ( i smiled at her)
( She smiled back and handed me a plate of food , i took it to our room)
I can hear the shower running inside the bathroom, i placed the food on the table and started playing with my pallu until he come ,.. after few minutes shower turned off , i adjusted my saree and sit there *
Bathroom door opened and he came out in only trousers, towel around his neck, his wet hair dripping, his eyes locked with mine , my breath caught in my throat and quickly looked away and then down my gaze on my hands resting on my lap , heart pounding , i stood up and moved towards the room door*
Kaha ja rahi ho ? ( His voice almost commanding)
..kahi nahi bs bhar . ( I replied)
Idhar betho . Aur khayo
Nahi mujhe bhook nahi hai
( He stared and i took my footsteps back and sat beside him)
( He started eating quietly and me too and that silence was soothing and comforting)
Preshan ho ? ( I asked )
Nahi toh.
Lgra hai . Bta skte ho agr chaho toh ..acha lgega ..
..nahi kuch nahi hai jada mtt socho
Mhmm. ( I bended to pick up the plate when he stopped me )
Ruko mai uthata hu ( he picked it himself and started walking down in kitchen , i followed him )
After washing his plate he went to his mom who was sitting in living room watching tv, rested his head on her lap and his mother started massaging his head*
I was standing behind, at the scene i felt emotional, my eyes filled up at the motherly love , my mother would have done the same if i were exhausted, i still remember when everyone else scold me in my childhood i run to her and she huggs me so tight that i forgot about anyone else's taunt and scolding*
Diyaa..kya hua roo kiu rahi ho ( his mother said softly, i realised i was too lost that I didn't noticed my tears escaped one after one, i instantly cleared my eyes)
Nahi vo.. ( no words of explanation came out )
Idhar ayo mere pass ( she opened her arms inviting me for hug i slowly made my way to her and she held me tight on other side Anirudh rested his head on her shoulder)
Sorry .. mujhe pta nhi kya hogya..
Jb insaan andr se bhra ho tb esa hota hai, hum sb hai na kisi bhi chez ki chinta mtt krna ( she kissed my forehead)
A tear rolled out again but this time due to feeling that motherly love again after so many years*
Shh ab chup hoja.. Anirudh jaa bahu ko ghumne le ja , nayi nayi shadi hui hai ghumo fhiro smjhe budhuo ( she hugged both of us as if she knows the storm of our hearts )

( We both went out , he drived until we stopped at the lake side)
Jb mai udaas hota hu tb yahi ajata hu ..skoon milta hai.
( I smiled slightly) Hmm bht sundar hai .
Aja bhar beth te hai . ( We both came outside the car and sat on the grass looking at the view , there was a relaxing silence which calmed my mind and as i looked at him , he closed his eyes and sighs*
Tumhe kuch preshan kr raha hai toh mujhe bta sakti ho ( he said )
Nahi ab thik lg raha hai. ( I smiled at him )
He looked at me and.. smiled too"
Roo kiu rahi thi..?
Vo..maa ki yad agyi thi .
Yad aa rahi thi toh kal milne chali jao ( he suggests)
I smiled through tear filled eyes* mil toh liya..( i looked at sky)
( I took a deep breath) M..meri Maa.. ne.. suc*de kiya tha..
He freezed* oh.. I'm s..-
Hmm.. it's okay i know, sry pta nahi kiu bta rahi hu
( He looked at me , really looked at me) He hesitatetes before asking* Toh vo jo..tumhare ghr pr hain vo..?
Vo meri sauteli maa hai..dad ne dusri shadi ki..jb mom ko pta chla ki dad ka affair chl raha hai toh..unhone.. ( tears rolled down)
He didn't hesitate this time and pulled me into a tight hug*
Shh.. bs ..sb thik hai hmm. Mai..hu.. na
( My heart felt light after saying it to him as if my years of baggage just dumped)
Mai thik hu..
He didn't let go even when i said I'm fine*
We stayed that way for few minutes i can hear his heartbeat and it so
oths me up and felt sleepy*
Ayo ghar chalein ( he suddenly picked me up and this time i didn't stop him instead rested my head on his shoulder and started drifting off)
